Orbis Writings

I was hoping to write a short story, which I am.  I was aiming at 2,000 words, but I’m at 1,762 words already and haven’t even reached the climax, nor am I even close to reaching it.  And I think I’m about to make things more complicated by killing off one of my main characters.  Damn it! Well that’s okay, at least I’m finally starting to understand the art of writing.  But still…
